Don’t know
as I have acknowledged your card yet but it was not because I did not
appreciate it. I did no write before for
the very good reason that I had not had time.
If you think $30 is to much pay for a soldier, at least an engineer
recruit, I just wish you could try it a while.
I have been transferred again to Headquarters Company, where there is more
work and less drill. Can’t say I am
pleased with the change. But I’m not
sorry I joined as long as they need the men.
